Ministry Opportunities
Mary Francis Gould Mission Group
Every 1st Monday of the month we have a dedicated group of women that gather for a time of prayer, fellowship, and a lesson on missions involvement. They meet at 12pm in the fellowship hall. They maintain numerous additional activities throughout the year and are always looking for more people to join with them!
Community Involvement Team
Our newest ministry team is the Community Involvement Team. This team has the specific purpose of making sure we have a presence in the life of our community. They help scout out ministry and outreach opportunities and have been charged with helping our church find a way to become a key place in the life of our community. If you are looking at a way to do church differently and impact the community, this is the team for you!
Highland High School Football Tailgating Ministry
During every Friday night home game, our church opens up the parking lot to folks attending the Highland High School Football games. There is no charge and the church is happy to provide hot dogs, popcorn, and more to folks as they come through our property. Stop by and see us on your way to cheer on the Bluebirds!
Homebound Ministry Team
We are in the early stages of planning a ministry for our members that are no longer able to attend services with us physically. This team will make regular visits to those members, take communion together, and find ways to minister to them. If you love connecting and serving with folks, this is a great place to make lasting relationships.
Other Ministries
We believe that we are called to serve Christ faithfully in the places where he has put us. This means that our range of ministries may vary based on the current needs of the community and the skills of our congregation. In recent history we have partnered with Grenada 24/7 Missions, collected backpacks at Christmas for a local missions organization, participated in a Fair Trade Chocolate Tasting event in the community, raise money for clean water in Africa, and regularly collect food for our local food pantry as well as clothing and other items for Sunrise Childrens Service.
